For about 18 months or so, we've had the pleasure of working with the team at Springborough Management Ltd -- they develop and manage a number of commercial properties across the Calgary and Cochrane area. We've supported them with a number of sign, graphic and display solutions -- from wayfinding signage, to feather flags, to exterior banners.

This month, I would like to introduce you to Irwin Rajesky. Irwin is General Manager at Springborough Management Ltd. He is a very experienced and connected property manager -- with years of expertise in the industry. He's an old school kind of guy -- he'd rather pick up the phone and have a chat vs. send an email.
A cool thing about Irwin -- the thing that makes him stand out-- is that he's all about the tenants. Before Christmas, I had the occasion to connect with Irwin for a cup of coffee at the Springborough Professional Building in SW Calgary. We sat and chatted for a good half hour or forty-five minutes. With Irwin, the conversation always starts with the important stuff.... 'how are you doing?', or 'how's the family?', or 'how's the business doing?' He's genuinely interested in whomever he is chatting with. And as we sat chatting, there were a number of tenants who came through the café -- they nodded, or waved or exchanged a few words. Irwin knew them all by name and he could share little anecdotes about each of them. He knows which of his tenants are enjoying success and who is struggling. And if they are struggling, he's right there trying to figure out how he can help.

The solutions we've created with Irwin are great examples of his respect and support for his tenants.

     - Last summer, he created a banner program where tenants who had been impacted by covid restrictions were able to display banners with promotional or a "NOW OPEN" message on the exterior of the building.
     - He created feather flags to display in front of the property with similar messaging.
     - He created wayfinding signage to help the tenants make sure their customers can find them.

And I would say his efforts are appreciated. There is very little turnover in the Springborough building. Last week, one of his tenants, Zeal Performance, tagged him in a Instagram post with the caption 'best landlord ever!'
It's a pleasure to work with Springborough Management and especially Irwin. If you are a professional services business looking for a new location, then I would definitely search him out. You can't go wrong if you locate in one of his properties.

February is Frost Month
I've mentioned many a time that frost is one of my favourite window treatments. I just love the classy look, the privacy, and the light it lets through!  We had the opportunity recently to install some frost down at Tamarack Valley Energy as they grow again and move to another floor of the Jamieson Place building downtown. Here’s a fun little video of Dan and Ryley as they move through the installation. If you are interested in learning more about frost as a window treatment for your business conference room, give us a ring – we’re happy to chat with you.
